For a Spain visa appointment from Purley, the listed centre is in London. BLS allocates Greater London residents to its London route. Check that your residence and visa circumstances fit before booking.
To get help looking for a suitable London date, Spain Visa Alerts’ appointment search sends notifications when a matching appointment is detected. You book through BLS yourself.
Use the London route that matches your residence
BLS directs applicants to select the consular district where they live. Its selector allocates Greater London to London, so this is the listed route for an applicant who actually resides in Greater London. The town name alone does not establish an individual’s full eligibility.
BLS identifies itself as the official partner of the Embassy of Spain in London. The Spain Visa Application Centre is at 20 St Andrew Street, London EC4A 3AG. Confirm your residence district in the official system before choosing an appointment. Applications from outside the intended consular jurisdiction will not be accepted there. You must also meet applicable immigration and visa requirements.
Check that a short-stay visit fits your trip
The London BLS site lists Tourist Visit among its short-term visa categories, for stays of up to 90 days. Use this route only if it matches the purpose and length of your planned visit. Start with the London Tourist Visit information and check the current instructions before preparing your application.
For a Schengen trip involving more than one country, Spain must be where you will spend the most time. If your stays are equal in several Schengen countries, Spain must be your first point of entry. Check this before searching for dates: a convenient appointment does not make Spain the correct country for an application that does not meet these conditions.
If the calendar has no date you can use
An empty calendar or unsuitable dates can make it hard to plan. Keep using the official BLS booking portal to check the London route, and decide in advance which dates you could realistically attend. Avoid relying on an assumed release hour or changing to another centre without first checking that it serves your residence.
Spain Visa Alerts offers optional search support for matching London appointments. The search starts after confirmed payment. When a match is detected, the service sends an email notification; SMS is available where enabled, supported and possible, but mobile carrier delivery is not guaranteed. A notification does not hold a date, so be ready to assess it and complete the official booking yourself.
Make a possible opening useful
Use waiting time to check your travel plan and keep your application information consistent. Confirm the intended dates, countries visited and length of stay in each. Work out whether Spain is your main destination, or your first entry point when stays are equal. This simple check can help you avoid pursuing the wrong application route.
Read BLS’s current Tourist Visit guidance before an appointment appears, rather than trying to interpret requirements under pressure. Keep the official booking page accessible and make sure you can receive messages at the email address used for the search. If a date appears, check that it suits your plans before proceeding.
Take the next step with the right centre
The official BLS appointment portal is where you complete the booking. A notification is a prompt to check the date, not a booking confirmation. You remain responsible for choosing an available appointment and submitting your application through the provider. Check the centre address and travel arrangements before committing to a date.
If London is the correct route for your residence and you want help monitoring for a matching appointment, start your London Spain appointment search. Prepare your details first, then respond to a notification that suits your plans.
